Quepos is a quiet but modern town, built in the thirties as a banana port. The town features colonial architecture and great seafood restaurants along a beautiful seaside plaza. Quepos will also be home to a new world class marina ( Marina Pez Vela )
Quepos is famous for its fabulous fishing, white sandy beaches, and beautiful mountain outcroppings jutting into the crystal clear waters of Manuel Antonio National Park.
The Park is the gem of the National Park system. It is home to White Face, Howler and Squirrel Monkeys, Sloths, Toucans, Iguanas among many others.
Quepos and Manuel Antonio offer visitors plenty of activities to indulge in. You can enjoy canopy tours, horseback riding, kayaking, rafting, surfing and much more. There are numerous smaller boutique hotels as well as larger luxury resorts.
There are also many fine restaurants, lounges and bars ranging from European to local tropical influences. 
The town center is a charming square filled with art galleries and shops, all situated on the beach front. If you happen to visit here during festival times, the streets are filled with dancing, parades and concerts.
With an interesting atmosphere that is all its own, you will find local residents that originate from many different parts of the world.
This gives the region its’ unique flavor Quepos and Manuel Antonio have been referred to as “The French Riviera of Central America”.
